Builders Parts Gunpla System Base 001 by Bandai (Review)

Just showing off the System Base 1 of Bandai's Builders Parts series.

No mods, paint, I've actually left most of the nub marks untouched just to show you where they would be visible. So basically out of the box..

This has 2 base configurations.. Simply put the Wide and the Narrow..

Apologies for the erratic exposure. Just have a lot of technical difficulties recently.

For the narrow config I've used the HGUC Unicorn for example.

W/o the base flats

With the base flats

Inner frame can tilt

Can tilt forward this far

I've mentioned the Wide configuration to accommodate wide base mobile suits.. Ill show it off in a bit but first this is how you transform it to that.

Side piece notched on the inner slots
Now notched on the outer slots

Narrow

Wide - Just pulled apart on each sides

The bottom part is loose to accommodate the notch

Wide
So a couple of shots and I've used the HGUC Banshee in Destroy Mode.. and actually tried out a MG Wing Series Kit as well (MG Heavy Arms to be specific).

As you will see this can still be used on smaller MGs but its a stretch for the larger and wider types.
Smaller MGs might be a snugfit

A few other things you can do with the Wide configuration..

Flats for the feet are put in

Base platform added as well

Putting your MS to sleep

Max backwards lean

A few more accessories namely the hooks and chain base connectors

You'll have 4 of these strips

And 4 hooks as well

Strips have slits to put in the hooks

Beam rifle Hooked!
One limitation I've seen is the hooks are a bit narrow.. so Beam bazookas wouldn't fit on them.

Chain base connectors
If you have more than one...

And finally in 360..

Hope you guys enjoyed it. I am having a lot of difficulties with the pictures and hoping to get better at it.
